This year we have chosen to become an Innovation Friend (Innovationsvän) at Young Innovators (Unga innovatörer). As experts in intellectual property law, we want to support and encourage the next generation to develop their creativity, problem solving and innovation thinking in order to contribute to a better world.For over 40 years, Young Innovators have complemented the school’s mission with free tools and processes for training and developing the ingenuity of middle school and high school students by creating a product or service from idea to finished innovation.Middle school students can complete the “Innovation Journey” where they can learn to find a solution to an everyday problem or in high school complete “Innov8” which is adapted for project work and to challenge students. They then have the opportunity to participate in Young Innovator’s annual innovation competition.The Alumni network is for everyone who has participated in Young Innovators’ activities during their school years where they receive help to take their ideas to the next level and present their innovation to interested companies in “Matchmaking” and create their own model or prototype in “Maker Camps”.
